Purpose

After 20 years in studio children’s portraiture, Doll-baby Portraits was created to artistically capture your child & not just "take a picture", while bringing the portrait studio to you. Being a mother of 2 myself, I understand the importance of having the comfort and security of the home environment for both parents and the child. This is why find shooting portraits on location a comforting and reassuring alternative to the traditional studio. Additionally, by photographing in your home we can help minimize the risk to your child by avoiding the bio hazards found in a busy children’s facility like the typical portrait studio.

Background

As a teen, I started out in mall studios. Later, I found a niche in Los Angeles photographing head shots and portfolios for children and adults. This led to an extensive background in Glamour photography. Eventually, after moving back home to East Tennessee I took a job managing Glamour Shots but my heart was always with children.

Following a brief stint in another chain style store I was fortunate to work independently again as the head photographer for Enchanted Portraits, a division of Lil’ Glamour Girls & Guys.

After a long break and a continued education I am now working for myself and couldn’t be happier. Creating portraits that are artistic, creative and memorable are my goal. I hope you’ll give me the opportunity to put my years of experience and lifelong passion to work for your family.
